4th of July

We celebrated Collin's first 4th of July with family and friends. The guys came over for breakfast before heading out to the Annual Friendswood parade. Collin was all lathered up in sunscreen and a hat. Well, we tried to get him to wear the hat. We had our own announcers in Bob and Mike. Both former employees at a Fire Engine Co. We learned all there was to about firetrucks. It's so handy to know these guys! Collin pointed at all the fire trucks, and loved the band! As any child of mine would….. I think the thing he loved most was the school bus of all things. He clapped at the fire trucks sirens. We then came home to have Bar-B-Que with Bob, Andy, Janna, Ryann, and Grandma Caldwell. Uncle Joel even stopped by for a while, before he had to go uphold the law. Collin loves to play with Ryann, so she's teaching him to play in his ball pit. (I think she likes it more than him!)

The highlight was the fireworks!!!!!! Collin's eyes were huge. He clasped and pointed at all the pretty colors. It was a wonderful 4th!!!!!!!!
